Description
RECOVERY This notice is provided for information purposes only. This opportunity is available only to existing authorized Adobe GSA FSS contract holders resellers. The Social Security Administration is planning to purchase software and maintenance for qty: 15 ColdFusion Enterprise 10 Description of Adobe Cold Fusion: Adobe ColdFusion Enterprise edition application servers is designed for delivering high-performing websites and applications in a clustered or virtualized environment. It provides the capabilities for creating enterprise-ready applications. Adobe ColdFusion software enables developers to rapidly build enterprise-ready Internet applications by condensing complex business logic into fewer lines of code. Unique integration between ColdFusion and products in the Adobe Flash Platform provides the easiest solution for building rich Internet applications (RIAs) from client to server. The Social Security Administration (SSA) Developer Community has developed many applications with the Adobe ColdFusion software code for many years. These licenses are required to support the current and future requirements for hosting the Adobe ColdFusion application infrastructure within the FLEX2 environment at the National Computer Center (NCC) and Second Support Center (SSC) and the National Support Center (NSC). The architecture advances and technology used to build SSA's current infrastructure are constantly changing. SSA needs licenses to support the current and future demands for Cold Fusion applications. SSA needs to produce and continually upgrade support for a solid technologically advanced platform with preventative problem measures. These software licenses will provide the infrastructure for collaboration and a foundation for building Web-based applications with this versatile technology. By purchasing the software licenses, it will allow us to continue support of the FLEX2 environment in the NCC and SSC and expand our support to include the National Support Center (NSC).
