- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number SSBPAREEFER is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) to establish Blanket Purchase Agreement(s) for rental of refrigerated trucks for storage and transport to and from various training sites within Alaska including Fort Wainwright, Ft Greely and Ft Richardson, Alaska. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-59, Effective 18 May 2012. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 532120 size standards in millions of dollars $25.5. Description of Requirement: CLIN 0001: The contractor shall be able to provide, the following truck sizes, 45 foot, 48 foot and/or a 53 foot. Trucks are required to transport perishables to and from training areas on the road system throughout Alaska. Upon issuance of a call order, the contractor will provide and deliver the required number and size of refrigerator trucks to Troop Issues Subsistence Activity (TISA) BLDG 3030, Ft Wainwright, AK. The truck(s) will be left for loading by government personnel. Once the truck is loaded and ready for transport, the contractor driver will return to drive the refrigerator truck to the designated training area along the road system. Once the driver arrives at the designated training area the driver will leave the refrigerator truck(s) onsite. The driver will return at the designated time and place directed on the call order to pick up the truck(s) to either take them back to TISA BLDG 3030 to be unloaded by government personnel and then back to the contractors job site or directly back to the contractors job site. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation and equipment to designated buildings and all military training areas in Alaska. All work shall be in accordance with individual Call Order(s). The government will re-fuel the Refer Unit at the training location. Sample quotation below: Our office would like to you to quote on.
