Description
Solicitation - NIFC Large Transport Jet Services The U.S. Forest Service, Incident Support Branch - The purpose of this solicitation (AG-024B-S-12-9024) is to secure a contract for a National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) Large Transport Jet. The intent of this contract is to obtain flight services utilizing fully functional turbine-powered airplanes, operated and maintained by qualified personnel and equipped to meet specifications, for the support of Federal programs. The type of services required to be performed are air transportation of personnel, equipment, and supplies as directed by the Government. During the exclusive use period and any subsequent extension, aircraft furnished shall be subject to the exclusive use and control of the Government 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week. **THIS IS A COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS-PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED** **NOTES** --Solicitation AG-024B-S-12-9024 is attached The Government intends to award A Firm-Fixed Price contract from this solicitation to the responsible Contractor. The resultant contract will have a base year and four (4) option years. The first year of the resulting contract will be from date of award through June 14, 2013, with the first Option Year beginning on June 15, 2013 through June 14, 2014. The following evaluation factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: 1) Technical Capability and, 2) Past Performance, and 3) Price. When combined, the Non-Price Factors are approximately equal to Price in the award decision. The solicitation is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code the Government anticipates this requirement will fall under is 481211 (Nonscheduled Chartered Passenger Air Transportation) with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The solicitation will only be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fbo.gov). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. No paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors MUST register at www.fbo.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the synopsis and resultant solicitation. No bidders mailing list will be maintained. Any prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration in order to be eligible for award. Additional information on CCR is available at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/.
