PR No: 0045427221; this solicitation will contain 1 NSN (5821-01-560-7879) for a Transmitter, Radio. This solicitation will be for an award for a quantity of 230 with an 100% option quantity. There are two approved sources of supply: Emergency Beacon (52727) and Chelton Avionics (60253). The FOB point is Destination, Inspection and Acceptance is Destination. The required delivery for is 21 days ARO. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is 19 Jun 12, (with a closindg date of July 19, 2012), anticipated award date is 30 Aug 12. Reference notes 22, 23 and 26.
