Description
Modification: Solicitation is modified to address questions and concerns, revise specifications as well as extend closing date to 1600 Wednesday, 6 Jun 12. a. What is the minimum watt/gallon density required? Gallon capacity 99.7 gallons b. When ultrasonic's fail, is the Government going to return the entire unit to the factory for repair or does the Gov't seek a field repairable design? The unit would ask for a quote for repair from the vendor if the unit is out of warranty window. c. What load height from floor level is required? 20" liquid depth d. What grade of stainless steel is required? 12 gauge e. How will the Gov't load and unload a basket measuring 44" x 20" x 18"? Customer supplied single pick-up point chain hoist f. What is the estimated weight of the parts load + the basket? Maximum loaded basket weight not to exceed 100 LBS g. Aircraft engine parts cannot come in direct contact with any surface of the tank. What is the Gov't requiring to prevent this? By having the parts contained within the basket. h. What will prevent floating or suspended contaminants from re-soiling the load upon retrieval? n/a parts will be fresh water rinsed upon completion i. Aircraft engine parts cannot be subjected to long term exposure to any ultrasonic process without risk to the substrate. How will the Gov't control the cycle duration? Dependant the component being cleaned as per the Technical Manual. j. What operating temperature and heat-up time from ambient is required? 140 to 160 volts thermostatically adjustable heat on/off switch, heat up time none issue k. Are you requiring the tanks and lids to be insulated for operator safety and efficiency? Quote both ways l. What is the power input and frequency? In order to be technically acceptable, offer must meet product description. Basis for Award: Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror/quoter.
