Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Contracting Services Office-Battle Creek has a brand name requirement for Good Dynamics Software. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) SP4707-12-Q-0051. Place of performance is Battle Creek, Michigan. Inspection, acceptance and F.O.B. are at destination, Battle Creek, Michigan. The single evaluation factor for award is lowest-price, technically acceptable. The resulting contract or order will be firm-fixed price. This requirement is being offered on a brand name only basis. In order to be considered technically acceptable, vendors must offer the exact product described below. Offerors shall provide a price for each contract line item number (CLIN) in their quote. Offers with quantities of less than requested or products that differ from those requested will be deemed technically unacceptable. Telephone calls WILL NOT be accepted at any time. Questions submitted via telephone WLL NOT be answered. Offers are due by Tuesday, June 12, at 4 p.m. ET. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is the lead for IT solutions across DoD and sets the policy regarding which software or hardware is authorized to store, process, transmit, or receive information, covering multiple operating systems. Good software is the only product approved by DISA for this function. While each operating system does have their own specific tool, only Good software covers all of the operating systems. The Good solution is the only authorized solution that meets both DoD and DISA security requirements. DLA is currently using Good Technology for managing mobile devices, specifically tablets. Good Dynamics is the only software product available that will work in conjunction with the current Good server which is functioning in Battle Creek. The Good Dynamics function is an extension of the Good for Enterprise in order to allow the pushing out of mobile applications. The following clauses/provisions are hereby incorporated by reference.
