- SOURCE SOUGHT THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposal. There will not be a solicitation issued at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical Center (VISN) 16 - Oklahoma City, Ok, has a requirement for labor, materials, equipment and supervision to procure a patient monitor system. The Government seeks to award a contract resulting from a solicitation to a responsible offeror whose proposal will conform to the solicitation and provides the best value to the Government with price and other factors considered. Specifically, the VA is interested in determining which vendors are capable of interfacing with GE's MUSE and MARS systems as they are the VA standard for EKG. The capabilities that must be met are as follows: Capabilities: 1.Does your monitor have the capability to acquire a diagnostic 12-lead ECG at the bedside? 2.What ECG analysis program is used? 3.Can the 12-lead ECG be stored on the GE MUSE Cardiology Management System? a.Describe the interface and provide a Flowchart for how the data moves from monitor, central station, and server (Flowchart example below) b.How many seconds of each ECG lead are stored in the MUSE? c.Can the physician read and electronically annotate and sign the ECG from the monitor on the MUSE? d.Is an electronic serial comparison, with mathematical and automatic comparison to the first previous ECG available when the MUSE is comparing an ECG from your bedside monitor to a stored ECG? e.Is the interpretation of your bedside ECG based upon an electronic serial comparison with the first previous for this patient done at the MUSE? f.What format is the ECG stored in the MUSE? g.When reviewing 12-lead ECGs on the MUSE workstation, can the waveforms be expanded, manipulated, and measured on the MUSE workstation display? h.Is the 12-lead ECG acquired at your bedside monitor gender specific (different algorithm for male and female)? i.Is the 12-lead ECG acquired at your bedside monitor age specific? j.Can an ECG be automatically triggered based upon alarm settings? 4.How many leads of ECG are simultaneously monitored for Arrhythmia Analysis? 5.Please list the waveforms that can be stored on your Full Disclosure System? How many channels are stored? 6.Can your Full Disclosure waveforms form your cardiac monitor be downloaded to the GE MARS Holter system for retrospective Holter analysis. a.Provide a Flowchart for how the data moves from monitor, central station, and server (Flowchart example below) Responses to include: 1.Documentation of capabilities (brochure, white paper, etc.) 2.Provide 3 references from Veteran Affair hospitals, including IT and Biomed contacts that are successfully doing ECGs from your bedside monitor, and storing on the MUSE. 3.Please provide the customer, owner or owner's representatives contact information (Business name, contact name, business address, phone number(s), email address). 4.Each offeror will specifically state all socio economic status for which they are certified (i.e. 8(a), VOSB, SDVOSB, large business, small business, GSA/FSS schedule contract number etc.) If you are a capable of meeting this list of requirement, please email Demarcus Thompson, Contract Specialist at Demarcus.Thompson@va.gov.
