- Attachment 2 - Survey Results Attachment 1 - Sales Demographics The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to the questions received in regards to this requirement. See the answers below along with Attachments 1 and 2. Question 1: Please provide check averages and guest participation by meal period for the cafeteria to provide a participation base line. Answer 1: See Attachment 1 - 2011 Sales Demographics Question 2: Please provide a breakdown of 2011 catering sales. Is this included in the provided gross sales figures? What is your projection for catering sales in 2013? Will volumes remain constant, increase or decrease? Are there any large catering events that occur annually and should be budgeted? Answer 2: Catering services are not required under this contract. Question 3: Are hourly associates represented by a union and if so which local? Please provide a copy of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, expiration date of contract and seniority wage schedule by job classification. Answer 3: Associates at this location are not represented by a union. There is no Collective Bargaining Agreement. Question 4: From the stated building population of 2000, please provide the demographic distribution of the workforce for menu planning purposes. To better understand traffic flow in the café, what percentage of the population are government workers, judges, litigators or guests? Answer 4: The 2011 TMFJB Occupant Counts are as follows: 4 Tenant Agencies: • Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (919 employees/592 contractors) • Federal Judicial Center (145 employees/3 contractors • Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (26 employees/1 contractor • U.S. Sentencing Commission - 101 employees/5 contractors Service Providers: • Child Development Center (17 staff/56 children) • Cafeteria - (11 staff) • Fitness Center (2 staff) • Health Unit (1 staff) • Property Management (20 staff) • Custodial (22 staff) • Security (50 security guards) Other Occupant: • U.S. Supreme Court Library (11 staff/2 contractors) The TMFJB receives approximately 50 visitors Monday through Friday including judges, court staff, and/or guests. Question 5: Please provide the results from your last customer satisfaction survey for cafeteria and/or catering services. Answer 5: A customer survey was issued on September 7, 2010 to occupants in the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building. Attachment 2 to this amendment includes the results of this survey. Question 6: Please provide the price and portion guide for the café. Please provide a copy of the current catering menu. Answer 6: Catering services are not required under this contract. Question 7: What was the date of your last price increase in the café? In catering? Answer 7: The most recent price adjustment for cafeteria services was effective September 3, 2008. There has been no price increase for catering services during the life of the contract. Question 8: Have any of the committee members suggested any ideas that they would like to see the "renovation"spent on? Answer 8: No ideas have been suggested. The Government prefers for offerors to propose their own renovation ideas. However full renovations, i.e. tearing down walls, are not required. Question 9: Will another site visit for purposes of measuring the cafeteria area be held? Answer 9: Site visits for the purpose of measuring the cafeteria space will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, June 8, 2012. Interested vendors must contact the Contracting Officer, Kimeerly Fleming at Kimeerly_Fleming@ao.uscourts.gov by 10:00 am on Friday, June 8, 2012 to register to attend. This email shall include the company name, the name and role of each attendee and a telephone number. No more than two representatives from each company will be permitted.
