- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 00HCVLJD-2012-45063 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-58. This purchase is subject to availability of funds., 3, EA; LI 002, Liquid CO2, CVK-UB2(1) Liquid CO2 backup system (tank not included) This purchase is subject to availability of funds., 3, EA; LI 003, Fixed Side Access Racks, SUR-524-N Fixed Side Acces Racks for upright freezers for 2" boxes Storage (do not include boxes and dividers) This purchase is subject to availability of funds., 48, EA; LI 004, Freight charages. This order will be shipped to CDC's office in San Juan, Puerto Rico (1324 Canada Street). Please include all shipping charges under this line item. If there are shipping charges, we must have them stated up front; we cannot do prepay and add. This purchase is subject to availability of funds., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. Bid MUST be good for 45 calendar days after submission Bid is to include all fees, including shipping or freight costs. Provide on bid the estimated ETA, number of days, delivery can be expected after receipt of purchase order. Bid per specifications requested. If an item has been discontinued or is end of life, annotate bid referencing as such then bid an equal or better replacement for the item. NO partial shipments (if shipment is applicable) unless specifically authorized at time of award.
