- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a request for quotation. Submit offers on RML-RFQ-12010. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58 dated May 18, 2012. This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 12, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Acquisition of Commercial Items, and is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339999 and the size standard is 500 employees. Rocky Mountain Laboratories (RML) is a state-of-the-art bio-medical research facility that requires the replacement of some existing cages and disposable supplies which must be compatible with the existing InnoVive System. SCHEDULE: The following items are needed: 1) 10,000 Innocage IVC Single Filter Mouse (set); 2) 10,000 IVC Innocage Mouse (bottom only); 3) 1,000 Innocage IVC Dual Filter (pre-bedded alpha-dri set); 4) 1,000 Innocage Bottom Only (pre-bedded alpha-dri); 5) 12,200 Mouse Feeder (extended-use); 6) 24,000 Aquavive Mouse Water Bottle (empty); 7) 1,848 Aquavive M-WB-300, pre filled, Irradiate; 8) 4,500 Aquavive Rat Water Bottle (empty); 9) 600 Ray Feeder, Extended Use; and 10) Shipping and handling cost. FOB Point shall be Destination, Hamilton, MT. Delivery location is Rocky Mountain Laboratories, 903 S. 4 th Street, Hamilton, MT. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: (B)(1) By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation; FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial; 52.212-4 contract Terms and conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. By submission of an offer, the Offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall have posted their FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items at website http://orca.bpn.gov/. Award will be based on the capability of the item offered to meet the above stated salient characteristics, price, past performance, delivery, and best value to the government.
