This is a presolicitation notice for Milk and Dairy Products Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The Department of Veterans Affairs, El Paso Network Contracting Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for two (2) years starting on 10/01/2012 and ending on 09/30/2014 for the New Mexico VA Health Care System. Base Period 10/1/2012 through 9/30/2013 Option Period 10/01/2013 through 9/30/2014 This is a Total Small Business Set Aside. The applicable NAICS code is 311511 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about July 2, 2012. All solicitation documents can be obtained through Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), website http://www.fbo.gov/. Offeror's are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all documents and acknowledging any amendments, and should re-visit the FBO website periodically to check for any changes to this notice, updates, or amendments without further notice from the VA. No other site shall be used to obtain these documents. All contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Timely registration is strongly encouraged, in order for the VA to verify the company's registration. Address all questions in writing to the issuing office via email to Carlos.Jaquez@va.gov.
