- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The National Park Service, Alaska Region intends to award a sole source contract to the City of Sitka, Alaska for the following services: Provide Streamflow values and basic statistical information for two individual Indian River Streamflow transducers. A. Contractor shall evaluate individual discharge measurements. Contractor shall complete "Discharge Measurement Summary" sheets of stream discharge generated in the universal USGS format. B. Contractor shall modify "Generation of Gage Height Corrections" tables. Tables shall track recorder corrections, drift corrections, and datum corrections over time. C. Contractor shall develope and maintain stage-discharge rating tables and shift curves. D. Contractor shall record and calculate the "Primary Computation" sheets. These sheets record the daily high, low, and mean gage heights, corresponding discharge, and estimated mean daily discharge valuesfor any missing, bad, or ice affected record. E. Contractor shall complete the "Manuscript Station Description" which includes the daily mean discharge table for the water year, monthly and annual (water year) statistics, and any pertinent footnotes. It is included with the Primary Computation sheets. F. Contractor shall complete a "Station Analysis" which describes the actual accuracy of the water year's stream discharge record for each site. G. Provide final reports and data to the NPS no later than November 30, 2012. This contract will be made under FAR Part 15, " Other Than Full and Open Competition is authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 29 June 2012. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals.
