Description

This acquisition is 100% set aside for SDVOSB. The NAICS Code is 327991. Size standard is 500 employees. The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under solicitation number VA786-12-R-0171 for On-site Inscription of the following: U1, Government Furnished Upright Marble Headstone (13" x 42" x 4") R2, Government Furnished Reverse Upright Marble Headstone (13" x 42" x 4") I1, Government Furnished Marble Niche Cover (15-3/4" x 11-1/4" x �") At the following cemetery: Rock Island National Cemetery Rock Island Arsenal\ Bldg 118 Rock Island, IL 61299 The period of performance will be from October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013, with four (4) 1-year options, if exercised, to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2017. All potential offerors will submit at their expense two (2) inscription samples by the closing date of the solicitation. The samples will be used to determine the potential awardees' ability to perform inscriptions. The samples should conform to the Government specifications that will be detailed in the solicitation. All potential offerors who have submitted and received approval notification for a sample of the same type within the last 12 months may submit a copy of that approved sample review with their proposal to avoid submitting an additional sample. Full size copies of drawings are available upon request at no additional charge to vendors. The request shall be e-mailed to the NCA Memorial Programs Service (MPS) Program Support Unit at MPSProgSupport@va.gov and shall include the contractor's name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address and the name and drawing number of the drawing(s) requested. Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Award will be made to the offeror whose price is lowest among all proposals that are deemed to be technically acceptable. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about June 11 2012 and proposals are due on or about 2:00 P.M. on July 6, 2012. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments.
