Description
This solicitation is for a mobile stage with set up and tear down for a July 4th activity (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued as solicitation, FA2517-12-T-6008. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-59 (iv) This acquisition is procured as a 100% total small business set aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 523490, Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing. The size standard is $7 million and a single award will be made as a result of evaluation of quotes. (v) Contract Line Items (CLINs) are as follows: CLIN Description and unit of measure 0001 Provide, deliver, set up, and tear down stage for rehearsal and performance on 4 July 20. Stage will be set-up on south end of Falcon Stadium on the field. Qty-1each (Please see attachment "Performance Work Statement" for requirement.) (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired. The requirement is for a Mobile Stage for USAFA Band Fourth of July Concert 2012. (vii) The following commercial service is requested in this solicitation to be delivered to: United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO. Deliver and set up stage on 2 July, tear down on 5 July. (viii) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (June 2008). All firms must be registered in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil at time of quote submittal. DUNS, Cage Code, tax ID, terms and conditions shall be submitted with quote. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award. The Government is not providing contract financing for this requirement. Quote must be valid for 60 days. (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2(a) Evaluation--Commercial Items (a) (JAN 1999), applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on lowest price technically acceptable. Technically acceptable is determined based on the following: •- Contractor shall provide in detail how mobile stage support shall be accomplished IAW the performance work statement to meet the service summaries. •- Contractor shall provide stage set up on 2 July to facilitate audio technician's equipment set up on 3 July. Dimensions are 56' x 48' x 4' and stage shall be provided for musicians, chairs, stands, and other performance-related equipment. Three (3) sets of stairs shall be provided for musicians. One set shall be for stage left, one for stage right, and one shall be for the front of the stage. Each set of stairs shall include handrails on both the left and right sides. The stage will include a black skirt placed around the entire perimeter. (x) The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification--Commercial Items (Apr 2012), applies to this acquisition. All vendors must be registered in Online Representations and certifications (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov)) at the time of Quote submittal.
