The purpose of this effort is to acquire an asset for air-deployable, surface rescue platform capable of maneuvering over adverse terrain in order to search for and recover Isolated Personnel (IP) an/or equipment, while also providing the capability of transporting the rescue team and the IP from an area of high threat to a defendable location for recovery by aircraft or self recovery to the final destination. This solicitation was prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The objective for this procurement is for the delivery of specification-compliant systems in accordance with the contract delivery schedule, delivery of the required data items and execution of associated program support. Interested parties and offerors should obtain, read and review the complete information package to determine all technical requirements prior to submission of any offers. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the government. A Draft RFP was sent for this effort under GAARV Draft RFP dated 6 April 2012. Two (2) paper copies of the proposal should be submitted to the address listed below which should contain all of the required information requested in the RFP. Paper copies should be labeled "Proprietary/Competition Sensitive Information" on the cover sheets and in close proximity to this type of information on each applicable page. Proprietary/Competition Sensitive information shall be protected from disclosure. E-mail copies of the paper submittal shall be accepted. Responses shall be received no later than 5:00 PM (Eastern) on 13 July 2012. Paper/e-mail submittals shall be sent to ASC/WISK, Attn: Susan Stewart, 1895 5th Street, Bldg 46, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
