Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation **PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED** This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information in reference to this acquisition. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Office of Acquisition Management (HAAM) is issuing this solicitation, number DTFH61-12-Q-00038, as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58 effective May 18, 2012. This requirement will be awarded as a commercial item under the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12. The FHWA intends to award a firm-fixed price, Sole Source purchase order to: PANalytical Inc. 117 Flanders Road Westborough MA 01581-1042 This purchase order will be issued in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c) (1) and FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This determination was made based on Market Research conducted for this acquisition. ****Further details are contained within the attachment****
