Description

Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) plans to procure follow-on engineering development effort for the TRIDENT D5 Life Extension (LE) program. Required deliverables will support expedited testing and fielding of the LE Command Sequencer package. This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company under contract N00030-12-C-0100, which SSP awarded using other than full and open competition. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
