Description

This notice is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://Iwww.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO CONTRACTORS UNDER N00164-10-G-GM09. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to issue a modification to expand the Statement of Work to include Technical Services, Program Services, and Superset testers to Basic Ordering Agreement N00164-10-G-GM09 currently held by Teradyne, Inc. The following CLINS will be added to the Basic Ordering Agreement: Program Management Seller Related Activities (CLIN 0052), Factory Support Services (CLIN 0053), Buyer (On-Site) Applications Engineering Assistance (CLIN 0054), Systems Engineering Support (CLIN 0055), Teradyne 9100 Series Modernized Superset Acquisition (CLIN 0056), and Teradyne 9100 Series Modernized Superset Acquisition with GFE (CLIN 0057). The inclusion of the Technical and Program services is to provide an enhanced failure analysis and engineering investigation capability beyond that provided in current agreements. The inclusion of the Superset Testers is to meet expanding program demand. This contract action will be issued utilizing other than full and open competition procedures under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), One Source or Limited Sources. An offer will be solicited from Teradyne, Inc., 600 Riverpark Drive, North Reading, MA. The proposed expansion is for Technical Services, Program Services, and Superset Testers, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). It has been determined that the Government requirement for these items can only be met by one vendor due to the contractor ™s unique manufacturing capability.
