- Sources Sought ORTHOPEDIC POWER SURGICAL TOOLS RFI VA248-12-I-1728 6515 Network Contracting Activity (VISN 08), Orlando Activation Office, is seeking sources to provide orthpedic power surgical tools PSC 6515. This notice is for informational purposes and a solicitation is not available at this time. In addition, this is an invitation for all qualified vendors to participate in a Vendor Show. Additional information and instruction is provided below for the Vendor Show, 6/29/2012 which includes registration information, which will be held between the hours of 12pm - 4pm in Auditorium A & B at the VHA Orlando Clinic building located at 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, Fl 32803-8208. See attachment for a list of actual units and quantites needed. THIS IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUIVALENT. SEE SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS AND TOOL LIST. These units are intended for our Lake Nona Medical Center which is currently under construction. Quantity of items is shown to informational purposes, however, price quotes are not sought at this time. The government is seeking technical information, brochures, etc only and participation at the vendor fair. RFI Questions 1. Questions regarding this RFI shall be submitted ONLY to the contracting office. 2. Questions shall be submitted electronically by email only. The email to submit questions to is linda.whitmer@va.gov and david.bremer@va.gov. 3. The RFI number (VA248-12-I-1728) shall be referenced in the email subject line. 4. Questions will be answered and posted on the GSA Advantage EBuy solicitation page on a non-attribution basis. 5. Under no circumstance shall any question from any vendor be submitted directly to a technical point of contact in the VA. 6. All questions must be submitted not later than 25 June 2012. Questions received after this period may not be answered. 7. Responses to questions will be posted not later than 2 July 2012. B. Pre-Quote Product Demonstration 1. The government will hold a pre-quote demonstration where prospective vendors will have the opportunity to present their products and demonstrate their capabilities in meeting the requirements of this RFI. 2. The vendor demonstration day will take place on Friday, June 29th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern time. The location will be at the Orlando VA Medical Center, 5201 Raymond St, Orlando, FL 32803. The auditorium A & B has been reserved to host the event. 3. Vendors who are interested in presenting their products at this event will need to submit the following information not later than 25 June to the following email address: david.bremer@va.gov and linda.whitmer@va.gov. a. All costs associated with the demonstration of equipment will be solely incurred at the expense of the prospective vendor. 5. Participation in the vendor demonstration is completely voluntary. While you cannot be made to attend, attendance is highly encouraged as this demonstration will provide users of the contemplated equipment a chance to see and put hands on equipment. C.
