- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting is contemplating the procurement of two (2) each sterilize in-place fermenters for pilot-scale bacteria cultures, vessel constructed from stainless steel, 30 liter total volume, vessel aspect ratio (H:D) 2:1 or 3:1, touch screen interface, Rustin impeller, agitation control covering the range of 100 to 700 RPM, thermal mass flow control with 0.5 to 25 SPM with built in four-gas control (four (4) solenoid valves), Ph via PID control, three (3) each built-in peristaltic pumps, mobile skid, Glycol / chiller heat exchanger designed to remove100 watts / L, final assembly and startup to include system functionality testing, completion of pressure hold test, completing of one (1) successful sterilization cycle and field training. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the government's requirements. The solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ).
