- The 934th Airlift Wing will be soliciting for Project #QJKL 12-0001, Repair Aircraft Parking Apron. Work to be performed within NAICS code: 237990 size standard $33.5M. Work to include (but is not limited to) removal of existing damaged airfield concrete and reinforcement, repair and replacement of concrete, and other miscellaneous repairs and markings of airfield pavement, minor asbestos removal, and removal/treatment/disposal of any fuel contaminated soil encountered during demolition. Location will be on the restricted airfield area south of bldg. 822, at the Minneapolis-St Paul Air Reserve Station, Minneapolis MN as shown on the drawings. Performance period is 120 days. A firm fixed-price Request for Proposal (RFP) is contemplated and utilize the best value source selection process with the intent to award one contract to one responsible offeror whose proposal conforming to the RFP is the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach. In using this approach, the Government seeks to award a contract to the offeror who gives the Air Force the greatest confidence that they can meet our requirements. The evaluation factors will be provided in Section M of the RFP. This acquisition is solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Magnitude of acquisition is between $1Million and $5Million. The solicitation will be available via electronic means only, on or about 18 July 2012, with proposals due 30 days after RFP issuance. The entire solicitation will be posted at this website https://www.fbo.gov. Telephone requests for plans will not be honored. Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database to be eligible to receive award http://www.ccr.gov and have completed the On-line Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. Interested vendors should sign up on this web site in the "Interested Vendor List (IVL)" tab to view participation, and sign up to "watch" the opportunity to receive updated notices. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested parties to review this web site frequently for any updates/amendments. Detailed Site visit information will be provided in the RFP package, Section L; Potential bidders - prime contractors, subcontractors and/or suppliers may attend any site visits upon written advance notification to the assigned Contract Specialist. All responsible sources may submit a proposal by the date & time specified. No late proposals will be accepted.
