Description

RFI INVENOTRY SPREADSHEET DIVIDING 113 EQUIPMENT PIECES INTO 6 BUILDINGS. INCLUDES BRAND, MODEL NUMBER AND SERIAL NUMBER. This is a Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought notice posted by 502 CONS seeking possible sources for this requirement. This notice is neither a solicitation for work or supplies, nor is it a request for quotes, proposals, etc. In particular, our office is seeking companies who can potentially maintain and repair various government-owned printer/copier/multifunction devices at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment on behalf of the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This planned procurement is for services to provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to maintain and repair 113 networked printer/copier/multifunction devices that will ensure continuous and safe operation. Equipment is no longer covered by warranty. An initial assessment of all equipment must be made prior to start of a quarterly maintenance schedule and any repairs. Repairs between maintenance scheduled dates shall be done through unlimited routine and emergency service calls. The Contractor shall recommend if any equipment should be replaced. The Contractor shall not provide replacement equipment, just parts for repairs such as maintenance kits. The contractor shall also provide consumable supplies as needed including: toner, ink and printer cartridges. Paper is not included in this contract. Any new equipment and replaced equipment shall be included into the inventory list covered under this contract. Services will be conducted during business hours. The Contractor is expected to provide quarterly reports of services provided above including inventory reports. Questionnaire: 1.Is it feasible to expect one company to be able to provide maintenance, repair services and consumable supplies for the equipment listed in Attachment A? 2.Who needs to be certified to work on a piece of equipment, the person and/or the company? 3.Are certified technicians required to work on any new/replacement equipment that are covered by a warranty? If your company is interested in this planned procurement, please provide the following information: 1)Business Name and Address; 2)Business Size and Applicable Socio-Economic Status for NAICS 811212 (e.g., Woman-Owned, Veteran-Owned, etc); 3)CAGE Code and/or DUNS Number; 4)A short capabilities narrative on your firm; 5)Questionnaire answers - including recommendations if you so choose to provide 6)A detailed description (including size, scope and dollar value) of your company's experience in performing similar efforts. Be specific as to type, nature, location, services provided, and provide a POC reference (name and phone number); and 7) A list of technical certifications in performing services of this type of nature. Include manufacturer's certificate and POC reference (name and phone number). 8) Name and email address of a company point of contact for clarifications/further information.
