- Description
- The Bagram Regional Contracting Center intends to issue a solicitation, under number W91B4N-12-R-5010, for seismic data collection and analysis in Afghanistan. The contractor will be required to use the vibrating truck method of seismic data collection to survey approximately 322 km of area in Kushka basin in northern Herat. The period of performance will begin 30 days after the effective date of the contract. The contractor will be required to have all equipment and personnel mobilized to the work site NLT that date. The contractor will also be responsible for providing all of their own life support and security services, as all work takes place in remote areas outside of US military installations. The solicitation will be issued as a commercial item Request for Proposals, in accordance with the requirements of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. The anticipated solicitation issue date is approximately 22 June 2012. All solicitation documents will be posted to this website under this number.
