- Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Medical Supply Chain is hereby soliciting offers to potentially select multiple reverse distributor contractors to provide services to all eligible Department of Defense (DoD) only customers located in both the CONUS and OCONUS regions. This will be the third generation (GEN III) of the Pharmaceutical Reverse Distribution Program (PRDP) awarded by DLA. The awarded contractors will be responsible for providing reverse distribution services, while remaining compliant with all applicable laws and regulations related to the industry. The goal is to assist DoD customers worldwide in obtaining maximize credit value and pharmacy efficiency. The GEN III DoD Pharmaceutical Reverse Distribution Program will have a base period of one year with nine one year option periods for a potential ten year total contract period. The contract value is estimated at $11,884,500. The acquisition will result in an Indefinite Quantity Service Contract. Based on the standards of the awarding NAICS code, this award will be made as a 100% total Small Business Set-Aside. Competition will be sought, promoted, and sustained through the issuance of a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) on a full and open competition basis for those offerors meeting the small business NAICS code standards. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if it is in the Government's best interest. The Government will award the contract(s) to the offeror(s) who present the best overall value based on their overall proposal(s). The anticipated solicitation date is 1 October 2012.
