QUOTE SPREADSHEET This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12.6 and (FAR) Part 13 as supplemented with additional information included with the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm, Fixed-price offers are requested under this Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-58. The prevailing Department of Labor Wage Determination applies. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The Product Service Code is 5820, and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334310. The small business size standard is 750 employees. The U.S. Department of Labor Office of Public affairs have a requirement for Panasonic Audio and Video Equipment. The following provisions and clauses apply: Provision 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and conditions; 52.212-5 Contracts Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items; 52.222-26 EO 11246; 52.222-35 Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.223-6 Drug Free Workplace; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332); Quoters should include a completed copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications/Commercial Items with their reply. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) may be accessed on the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm. Interested parties may submit via email no later than 28 June 2012 at 1:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. Submit quotes to Thompson.sheila@dol.gov. Parties responding to this solicitation must include the following information: 1) company's complete mailing and remittance addresses; 2) discounts for prompt payment if applicable; 3) DUNS number; 4) Bidders must meet the requirements of Equipment Specifications. Panasonic Video Projector Equipment Specifications Requirements: The Department of Labor, Office of Public Affairs (OPA), Division of Audiovisual Communication Services (DAVCS), produces audio-visual products for presentation and distribution in order to support the Office of the Secretary (OSEC) and Department of Labor (DOL) agencies with their programs and initiatives. Projects requested by OSEC and DOL agencies are intended for various audiences, including DOL employees, congressional members, labor organizations, employer groups, educational groups and the general public. Due to an anticipated increase in Departmental events and initiatives surrounding the Department of Labor Centennial, March 2012- March 2013 and in partnership with OASAM, OPA DAVCS seeks to upgrade ageing and faltering video equipment in the Department's César Chávez Auditorium. The new video projector device must: 1. Provide superior image quality with up to 7000 lumens of brightness. 2. Accept multiple data/video signal inputs to accommodate a variety of presenter data/video inputs including: 1080i, 1080p/60, 1080p/24, 1080p/25, 1080p30, 1080p/50, 1035i, 525i, 525p, 576i, 576p, 625i, 625p, 1125i. 3. Weigh no more than 40 pounds. 4. Include a dual-lamp system. 5. Include a replacement lamp pack. 6. Include a liquid cooling system to avoid overheating. 7. Include a zoom lens to provide vivid, colorful images over a distance of sixty feet. The vendor shall provide installation of the video equipment with a labor warranty for one year. The manufacturer shall cover the video equipment itself with a warranty for at least three years.
