Description
The purpose of this Amendment is to answer the following vendor questions: Question 1: I'm going through the exam components, and just wanted to clarify if the incumbent exams are done yearly, like CI? The paperwork indicates that it is Biennial (every 2 years) but the description is worded as CI's-packets go out 60 days prior to their birthday. Answer 1: The incumbent's physicals should be every two years within their birthday month. Question 2: Is there any flexibility regarding the examination location requirement of a 50 mile radius from examinee home or office? Answer 2: There is not flexibility on the 50 mile radius. Question 3: The Blood Lead & Zinc Protopotphyrin (ZPP) test implies potential occupational exposure to lead. Do SIGTARB employees need to be enrolled in an OSHA medical surveillance program (such as 1910.10.25)? Answer 3: All gun carriers have the potential to be exposed to lead based on the requirement to take part in firearms training. However they do not need to be part of the OSHA medical surveillance program. Question 4: What is the anticipated annual volume by examination type? Answer 4: Incumbent Special Agents will all be required to take their baseline physicals the first year, then every 2 years after that point. Yearly physicals for new hires will be based on hiring, anticipated hiring of 1811's would be between 5 - 10 agents per year. Question 5: Provide a List of Items, Schedule of Requirements, Scope of Work, Terms of Reference, Bill of Materials required. Answer 5: A list of Items, Schedule of Requirements, Scope of Work, Terms of Reference, Bill of Materials required are all outlined in the solicitation in the notice on FedBizOpps. Answer 7: Each prospective offeror should review the entire solicitation including all clauses applicable as outlined in the solicitation. Some clauses are in full text and others are incorporated by reference. All vendors need to read each clause in its entirety. If any of the clauses preclude a country from participating in this procurement, it will be outlined in the clauses.
