- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requiring Activity: US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) for the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRCID). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: W81XWH-12-T-0311 This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58, 18 May 2012. This is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 314999. This contract shall be Firm Fixed-Price which will be paid using the Wide Area Work Flow system. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) and the Online Registration and Certifications Administration (ORCA). Quotations shall be prepared in accordance with FAR Provision 52.12-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial All quotations shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, which is included in the solicitation. All quotations shall be submitted electronically, no later than (NLT) 1200hrs 11 JUL 2012, to: Jacklyn McGurk; email: Jacklyn.McGurk@amedd.army.mil Questions shall be submitted to the POC: Jacklyn.McGurk@amedd.army.mil, NLT 02 JUL 2012. Quotations shall provide a price for ALL items listed in the solicitation. The minimum essential characteristics (MECs) are also spelled out in the solicitation. The quotations shall be submitted in PDF format. The firewall utilized by the Government contracting office does not authorize or accept zip files.
