- Purchase Specification dated 26-June-2012 Solicitation Amendment 0005 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. The Air Force intends to procure one (1) Versatile Theta/Theta X-Ray Diffractometer. The unit must meet the requirements outlined in the purchase specification. The entire solicitation will be made available only on FedBizOpps (FBO) website at: https://www.fbo.gov. All current/future information about this acquisition, i.e. solicitation, amendments, purchase specification, and Q &A's will be distributed through FBO. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FBO to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. As prescribed in FAR Subparts 4.11 and 4.12, all prospective offerors must obtain a DUNS number, have an "active" Central Contractor Register (CCR), and maintain an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in order to transact business with the Government. Failure to comply with the above mentioned regulations will result in an award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror. Please use the solicitation document attached to this posting for proposal submissions. Any questions concerning this requirement must be submitted in writing, via email, at least THREE WORKING DAYS prior to the due date. Questions need to be emailed directly to Hope Gonzales at Hope.Gonzales@hill.af.mil. Please Note: The purpose of amendment 0005 is to provide additional clarification for section 3.12. All offers must be in accordance with the latest purchase specification revision dated 26-June-2012. Due to the timeframe of when the Q&As and purchase specification revisions have been advertised, the specifications have contradicted the Q&As. Therefore, if there is a contradiction, the most recent purchase specification takes precedence and additional clarificatin should be submitted.
