Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition and Relocation Management (FA) intends to award a sole source contract to Digital Receiver Technology, Inc. for a Flashpoint 2 Post Processing System, ultra-portable and ruggedized with DRT Sledgehammer software utility. This award is based on the Flashpoint 2 Post Processing System's unique ability to interface with the existing DRT 1000C hardware at the DEA office where it will be installed. The anticipated award will be a firm-fixed price contract for a one-time buy. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334210. The business size standard is 1,000 employees. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors who feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.305(a) the justification will be made publicly available within 14 days after award has been made. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers.
