- VA Seeks 36+ Acres of Land to Construct a Health Care Center in the Loma Linda, California Area VA is seeking a site in the Loma Linda, California area (as defined by the below delineated area.) The site must be at least thirty-six (36) acres of developable land. The site must be currently zoned for medical use or the current owner must complete the re-zoning for VA. No portion of the site can be in a flood plain; the site shall be free of structures and any hazardous materials. The site cannot be located in the flight path of any airport and cannot abut rail lines. Public water, sewer and adequate utilities must be available to the site. Delineated Area: North “ Starting at the intersection of I-215 and W. 5th ST, east to E. 5th St, east to Greenspot Rd, East - South on Boulder Ave, south on Orange, east on E. San Bernardino Ave, south on N. Wabash Ave, south on S. Wabash Ave, southeast on I-10 to the San Bernardino/Riverside County Line South “ San Bernardino/Riverside County Line West “ I-215 A market survey will be conducted of all qualified offered sites. VA ™s broker for this requirement is Jones Lang LaSalle. For further information concerning the requirement, please e-mail William F. Craig, Jr. at bill.craig@am.jll.com or call 703-485-8736. Interested offerors (owners, brokers or their legal representatives) should submit electronically site specific information which as a minimum should include: address, size, map and/or plat, percentage of the site that is developable, owner and asking price no later than July 20, 2012 at 4:00 PM EST to bill.craig@am.jll.com. The Government will pay no more than the appraised fair market value for the site. RESPONDENTS ARE ADVISED THAT THE VA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO PURCHASE A SITE OR AWARD A LEASE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS ADVERTISEMENT.
