- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711, intends to enter into a sole source procurement under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, with Intellibot Robotics, LLC, 12820 W Creek Parkway, Suite B, Richmond, VA 23228 for four (4) Hydrobot - Hospital Package - Robotic Floor Scrubbers with four (4) battery exchange kits. The Government has determined that only one source can satisfy the Agency's requirement and intends to award to Intellibot Robotics, LLC. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any manufacturer that determines it can meet the requirements may give written notice via e-mail to Mark.Knorr2@va.gov by 4:30PM EST on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement, at no cost or obligation to the Government. All responses received will be evaluated, however the information received will be used solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. If no responses are received, the VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA, will proceed with a sole source procurement to Intellibot Robotics, LLC.
