- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302 FOR THIS PROCUREMENT ACTION. INTERESTED PARTIES MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT, OR SUBMIT QUOTES OR PROPOSALS AND CAPABILITY STATEMENTS. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. HOWEVER, ALL QUOTES OR PROPOSALS RECEIVED BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS RFQ WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, Port Hueneme, CA intends to procure with a sole source the following items: Description: Flange, P/N F30015-38, 360 ea; Flange, P/N F30020-38, 24 ea; Flange, P/N F30025-38, 32 ea; Flange, P/N F30030-38, 16 ea; Flange, P/N F401712-1, 8 ea; Nut, P/N T2236-125BM, 43 ea The Government reserves the right to award on an all or nothing, or partial basis. The NAICS code is 332999 and the Small Business Standard is 500 Employees. This combined synopsis/solicitation is a Sole Source. The contract type will be firm fixed price. This requirement is SOLE SOURCED to: SATAIR USA, INC, as the only source that can produce these specific flanges and nuts. SATAIR USA, INC is the OEM of these specific parts and holds proprietary and patent rights. Any firms believing that they can provide the flanges and nuts, per part number, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this note. It must clearly show the firms ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the part without causing programmatic hardship. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
