- Draft Performance Work Statement This is a Sources Sought Notice only. No solicitation is being issued at this time. The 99th Contracting Squadron is seeking commercial sources with the ability to provide Linen Exchange/Laundering Services to the 99th Force Support Squadron. The general description of services is as follows: The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform laundry cleaning services on government furnished property located at Nellis AFB Linen Exchange, Visiting Quarters and Child Development Center Centers I II & III (CDC I II& III) Nellis AFB, Nevada. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the recommendations set forth by the International Fabricare Institute (http://www.ifi.org), Institute of Industrial Launders, and standards established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA Standard 1910.264) for the commercial healthcare laundry industry for bio-hazzard items like blood, vomit, feces, etc. These items will be bagged separately in a red bio-hazard bag. The contract performance period will include a base period of twelve months (1 October 2012 - 30 September 2013) and four one-year option periods (extending through 30 September 2017). The purpose of this notice is to identify sources capable of meeting the needs of the Government as stated herein. All businesses large and small, 8(a), SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc., capable of performing the requirement indicated in the attached Performance Work Statement are encouraged to respond to this notice. Sources that have the ability to provide the necessary support services are asked to respond to this notice with a brief capability statement (maximum five pages) to provide a clear and complete narrative of applicable capabilities to meet the requirements. Responses should include: company name and address, DUNS number, CAGE code, size of business as it relates to the Primary NAICS code 812332, information on any additional small business classifications granted (if applicable), current point of contact (name, phone number, and email), and a list of contracts within the past four (4) years under which the interested party has performed the same or similar work. All responses must be emailed to marka.garrison@nellis.af.mil no later than 12:00 pm EST Friday, 13 July 2012.
