- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 633 Contracting Squadron is seeking information on potential firms qualified to provide quotes on a future solicitation. The contemplated contract type a firm fixed-price for Information Technology (IT) System Support Service for Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA 23665. The mandatory requirements and qualifications are as follows: • Perform Preventative Maintenance in accordance with (IAW) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations • Perform Remedial Maintenance • Execute warranties for asset maintenance • Perform equipment installation, relocation and removal • Create, install, and remove cabling for supported systems IAW Department of Defense and Air Force requirements • Support videoconferencing equipment and peripheral devices. • Assist with, but not complete, government accountability inventories and preparation for Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO) • Provide familiarization training on system hardware maintenance and interconnectivity for active duty and civilian personnel • Ship and receive assets through commercial and military channels (including completing bills of lading and verifying delivery) • Procure parts, spares, and materials necessary to support contract functions • Assist government personnel with site surveys for new installations or reconfigurations • Create/update diagrams/databases supporting Information Assurance, Configuration Management, and government documentation requirements • Maintain a Maintenance Log of IT equipment used for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) processing • Reserve Government Vehicles (GOVs), as needed, through the unit Vehicle Control Official (VCO) • Transport government owned IT between locations on the installation as required for preventative and remedial maintenance purposes • Report any issues relating to the use of GOVs by assigned contractor personnel to the COR and/or VCO for resolution • Schedule Video Teleconferencing (VTC) sessions via the Video Conference Wizard scheduling system • Track VTC sessions to ensure there are no scheduling conflicts • Maintain the VTC calendar • Initiate sessions by ensuring all components and communication connectivity are operational and conducive to a successful video teleconference • Perform 1st level troubleshooting and coordinating in the event of system anomalies • Perform all duties associated with maintaining and accounting for magnetic media in a secure environment to include receiving, disseminating, storing and destroying media according to applicable regulatory authority • Maintain and update existing media database commonly referred to as "Media Library" ensuring the database reflects the status, labeling and location of actual media • Develop and follow procedures to ensure full accountability of all electronic media housed in the Media Library. Media includes licensed software, network/system security audits, data recovery files and data backup files • Ensure all media within Media Library control is properly and appropriately marked and/or labeled • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) • Background in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of computers, monitors, printers and audio visual equipment • Background with ability to operate in a help desk environment • Must possess and maintain an A+ Certification in compliance with DOD Directive 8570.1 within 6 months of contract award • Minimum of associate degree and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, or 3 to 4 years of relevant experience for up to 50 percent of the personnel; and a minimum of associate degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 to 7 years of relevant experience for the rest The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541519 with a size standard of $25,500,000.
