Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Li Cor Inc 4647 Superior Street Lincoln, NE 68504-1395 for 1 year of monthly maintenance with (four) one year renewal option periods for a service plan for Odyssey Infrared Imaging System Maintenance in accordance with FAR 6.302-1.The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System currently has the equipment that requires maintenance, repairs and technical support. Li Cor Inc is the sole manufacturer in the United States of the Odyssey Infrared Imaging System and has qualified technicians who perform maintenance, software upgrades and replacement of parts. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest; accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than July 3, 2012 at 09:00 a.m. EST. Responses should be sent to johnny.barton@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Information received will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334516.
