The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region, Logistics Service Area, AAQ -530, has a requirement for The design and construction of an access stair for the ASDE at the Denver International Airport. The FAA contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract as a result of this solicitation. This RFO is set aside for competition among Small Business Concerns. 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, and Woman Owned Small Businesses are highly encouraged to submit an offer. Technical and cost proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. local Seattle time, July 23, 2012. In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals," any proposals received after the due time and date of 4:30 p.m. ET, July 23, 2012, will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
