- 1. Site visit will be 9-10 July starting promptly at 0800 MDT. The preproposal conference is tentatively scheduled for 1215 MDT on 10 July. ***Site visit is still as scheduled (No alteration due to Waldo Canyon Fires). PLEASE ARRIVE BY 0730 MDT as all attendees will need to check in before tour starts right at 0800 MDT. Please see language from solicitation for further instructions/expectations: "Attendees must arrive on time to be included in the site visit. The visit will start promptly at 8:00 A.M., and anyone arriving after that time will be denied admission. Be advised that Fort Carson is a limited access installation, and people entering its gates are subject to entrance requirements and possible search. Attendees must arrange their travel to accommodate for these procedures. It is the responsibility of the offeror to gain access to the Government installation; late attendees will not be permitted. Unless they have some form of Department of Defense identification, all drivers must provide a valid photo driver's license, current vehicle registration, and current proof of vehicle insurance and enter Fort Carson through ANY Gate." Please note the change from "Gate 1" to "ANY Gate"*** 2. Any questions regarding the site visit or questions that the offeror would like to be answered during the site visit/pre-proposal conference must be submitted, in writing, to Patrick.W.Clark30.civ@mail.mil and Charlene.M.Maneafaiga.civ@mail.mil no later than 1500 MDT, 27 June 2012. 3. All questions from offerors during the site visit will need to be submitted, in writing, on index cards that will be provided to the offerors the morning of the site visit. The Government will collect questions periodically throughout the site visit in an effort to answer questions during the site visit or pre-proposal conference. 4. The synopsis information regarding the technical library point of contact, time, and location has changed. Please refer to Section L, Proposal Prep Instructions, Paragraph 6 for the updated information. Offerors shall NOT ask the technical library attendant(s) questions regarding the solicitation, technical processes, or DOL past, present, or future operations. Any attempts will be reported to the Contracting Officer immediately. Offerors shall direct any questions to Patrick.W.Clark30.civ@mail.mil and Charlene.M.Maneafaiga.civ@mail.mil. 5. Draft Request for Proposal questions and answers have been posted with solicitation for reference. Please review this document before submitting duplicate questions.
