Description
Machined Metal Parts Acquisition The Federal Aviation Administration, Headquarters, Washington DC, is conducting a Market Survey to identify capable sources to fabricate metal parts (metal panels, pull out trays. etc.) to configure racks, to receive air to ground radios, and to procure other related radio related equipment. Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB/8(a)), Small Businesses, or whether the requirement should be competed. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will be utilized for planning purposes only. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this market survey. Any cost that may result from this market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor's expense. SCOPE OF WORK: The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor, product, equipment, materials, and supervision for the Fabrication of metal parts (panels, pullout trays, angle bracket slide, etc.) for application to radio racks to configure the racks to receive Air to Ground Radio and related equipment. Metal parts are to match drawings and meet specifications provided. Location: Material/parts will be shipped to: FAA NEXCOM Project, 1130 South Archibald Ave, Ontario, CA 91761-7652. The OSCBU program is designed for small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns, to acquire short term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
