- Description
- Description : DLA Land and Maritime (Columbus, OH) proposes to enter into a firm-fixed price, long-term indefinite quantity contract, which includes fixed-price option years as the approach to adjust prices for future contract periods. This project is comprised of 1 NSN ( 2510-01-560-1159) that supports the driver side windshield with DE Icing functions for use on various Armored Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV, FOV, TTA, UUA, UU2) for the United States Military, specifically the United States Army. This indefinite quantity contract (IQC) solicitation is for 1NSN that is managed by DLA Land and Maritime (Columbus, OH), with an estimated annual dollar value of $302,230.42. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide long term stock coverage while reducing both administrative and production lead times at economic prices. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, with full & open competition after exclusion of sources per FAR 6.203. The NSN on this project has been provided in the past by certified small businesses. The solicitation is for one base contract year with the option to extend the contract four additional years in one-year increments. The Governments delivery requirements for the NSN are 220 days if first article testing is waived and 370 days if first article testing is not waived for the awardee. Note: The solicitation opens on July 16, 2012, at that time the solicitation document and attachments as well as the drawings will be available in the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS). Note: The NAICS code has been changed: The NAICS code now being utilized for the procurement is 336992.
