Description
SYNOPSIS: THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This project includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment to complete the following: a. Access Road Pavement. Remove 967 SY of existing asphaltic concrete pavement by cold milling. Resurface with new bituminous pavement. b. Parking Lot Pavement. Remove 850 SY of existing asphaltic concrete pavement. Prepare sub-base and surface with new Portland cement concrete pavement 925 SY. c. Mooring Cell Concrete Apron and Barrier Posts. Remove existing sunken concrete apron and associated barrier posts adjacent to the mooring cells; total 36 SY and 12 barrier posts. Replace in-kind such that concrete apron is flush with existing mooring cell concrete and new parking lot pavement. d. Fencing & Guard Rails. Remove 228 LF of existing chain linked fencing and gate. Replace with new per provided details. Remove brush and overgrowth along and inside existing fencing to remain. Remove 115 LF of existing guard rail. Install 150 LF of new guard rail. e. Buoy Pens. Demolish 204 SY of buoy pens. Construct new OSHA-compliant steel framed buoy pens with steel grate catwalks 207 SY. f. Mooring Deadmen. Remove two existing mooring deadmen and install two new mooring deadmen. g. Shore Tie Repairs. Replace water and sewer shore tie support block and shore tie mounting back board. h. Site Utility Work. Perform miscellaneous electrical work. The performance period will be 150 calendar days. The estimated value of this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2007 code is 237990. The small business size standard is a three-year average annual gross receipt of $33.5 million. Bid, payment, and performance bonds are required. All responsible sources eligible under the set-aside may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency. The following are tentative dates for this project: Solicitation issued: July 18, 2012 Bid Opening: August 21, 2012 Contract Performance Completion: February 17, 2013
