- Solicitation The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX intends to issue solicitation IFBP04171200001 for the provision of Protestant Spiritual Guide. The services would be provided at the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, located in Milan, Michigan. A firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/requirements type contract will result from this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 813110 (Size Standard: $7 million.) Estimated number of sessions will be 1000 per year. A session will equal one (1) hour. The work will require an estimated 20 sessions per week and can be performed Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays) between the hours of 7:30am and 3:30pm. Sessions cannot exceed a maximum of 30 sessions per week for an individual. A mutually agreed upon schedule will be determined following the award of the contract. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The contract periods will consist of a base period through September 30, 2013and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The Government intends to evaluate bids and extend an offer of contract award to the contractor or individual whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be available on/or about July 2, 2012 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The date for receipt of bids is on/about July 26, 2012; however, this is a projected estimate and bidders should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (Block #8) for the actual date bid are due. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offer/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is not a small business concern set-aside, but all responsible small business concerns are encouraged to submit a quotation which may be considered.
