- Phase 2 Fire Restrictions Davis-Bacon Wage Determination Project Package - Specifications and Drawings Solicitation Document - SF1442 This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for construction services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subparts 15.2 and 36.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Proposal (RFP) AG-82X9-S-12-0133. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFP are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-59 and are available in full text through Internet access at http://www.acquisition.gov/far. The United States Forest Service (USFS) encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged, service disable veteran, and women owned business enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 and the small business size standard is $33.5 million. The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Forest Service. The Government requires performance of the work described in these documents to construct an ATV trail parallel to Divide Road NFSR 402. Items of work for the project include clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment, restoration of existing tread, stabilization of tread, installation of drainage structures, furnishing and installation of ATV cattle guards, and installation of government furnished signs on contractor furnished posts. Items of work shall be as flagged or staked on the ground by the Government ahead of construction. Project is approximately 11.3 miles in length. Contractor will be responsible for any required permits, temporary traffic control, and adherence to MUTCD requirements. Enter prices in SF1442 Section B using a typewriter or black ink. Follow instructions carefully in sections K, L and M; these will be included in any subsequent award. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled on July 12, 2012. See Section L for additional details.

- Address: Project is located on the Uncompahgre Plateau adjacent to the Divide Road, NFSR 402. Project begins at the Columbine Gravel Pit, located in Section 14, Township 48 North, Range 14 West, New Mexico Principal Meridian. From Delta, CO proceed southwesterly along Colorado Highway 348 approximately 5 miles to the intersection with 25 Mesa Road. Proceed on 25 Mesa Road (aka Delta Nucla Road, NFSR 503) approximately 27.55 miles to the intersection with Divide Road, NFSR 402. Proceed southerly 0.75 miles to the intersection with NFSR 533, Monitor Mesa Road. Proceed approximately 0.5 miles northeasterly along NFSR 533 to the beginning of the project. Project will begin there and proceed southerly, parallel to Divide Road NFSR, to the intersection with East Bull Creek Road, NFSR 546., Montrose County, Colorado, United States
