Sources Sought for Golf Carts in support of the 2012 Offutt AFB Air show SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS Note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals; the 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, NE, is seeking information for market research purposes only for the following equipment listed below: The item is: GOLF CARTS for the 2012 Offutt Air show Acts Description: Offutt AFB is in need of golf carts to support the Open House on from 23 Aug - 27 Aug 12. Dates and quantities of each type of cart are listed below: (SEE ATTACHMENT) Notes: 1. Two-passenger golf carts will be gas powered to the maximum extent possible. 2. Utility carts and 4 & 6 passenger carts can be a combination of gas and electric 3. Upon delivery, all vehicles will be made available for inspection by the air show staff. Should any vehicle damage occur following delivery, the contractor must submit an estimate of repair to the Open House director within 60 days of the event should they wish to be reimbursed for damages. 4. Governors will not be tampered with. Contractor has the option of assessing a $25 fee per altered cart to the Open House office. Again, contractor has 60 days in which to submit a bill to the Open House director in order to be reimbursed. Vendor will: - All carts should be delivered on the same day, but in no case delivered later than 5:00 pm the evening prior to the day needed. - Be available within one hour of notification to correct any problems occurring during event or provide (at no charge) at least 10% additional carts to be used as spares. - Not be required to refuel carts during rental period. There is no solicitation package available at this time. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HubZone, 8(a), small disadvantaged business, small business, woman owned business or large business) relative to NAICS 532292 ( size standard of $7.0M). In order to receive an award from any resultant solicitation, the successful offeror must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR). The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov/. The successful offeror must also have an active Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA). The ORCA website is: http://orca.bpn.gov/. The information provided will be used for planning purposes only. Sources must demonstrate technical experience on similar acquisitions, specifically addressing the requirements specified in this synopsis and demonstrate the ability to obtain the resources necessary to successfully compete for this requirement. Responses to this notice should include company name, DUNS number, address, point of contact and the size of your business pursuant to the following questions: (1) is your business large or small? (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantage business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8 (a) of the Small Business Act, identify if you are in 0681 district? (4) Is your firm a certified HubZone firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small or Veteran Owned Small Business? All information submitted is at the offeror's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of capability statements in connection with this market survey. Respondents will not be contacted regarding their submission of information or information gathered as a result of this notice. Any information provided is voluntary. All interested sources may submit a response via email to SSgt Daniel Hinsley, Contract Administrator at daniel.hinsley@offutt.af.mil and are due no later than 13 July @ 2:00 p.m., (Central Standard Time). If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
