Description
The Military Sealift Command plans to issue a solicitation for the time charter of one maritime support vessel. The vessel must be capable of supporting 50 personnel and have the ability to provide surge support to 200 personnel on short notice. The vessel must be able to support operations for 90 days without resupply. The anticipated charter period is a one-year base period with three one-year options and one 11-month option. The estimated start date is Summer 2013. The solicitation will be available on the MSC procurement website at https://procurement.msc.navy.mil/procurement/contract/RFPSearchEntry.jsp The RFP will be issued in Fall 2012.
