- PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 3, Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge, near Middle River, Minnesota, in Marshall County, Minnesota PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of replacing the radial gate skins, top seals, side seals, and bottom seals. Also included is replacement of existing structure handrails and addition of roadway approach rails. There are bid additives for: painting of structure steel, exposed concrete repair, and submerged concrete repair. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $33.5 million. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce on fbo.gov and fedconnect.net or about July 17, 2012 with a Bid Opening occurring on or about August 17, 2012. The Solicitation Package will include the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination and Bid Bond Form.
