- Case Study No 4 Attachment: T-AKE 7 UPS Survey Report Case Study No 3 Attachment: T-AKE 7 PLC Survey Report Case Study No 2 Attachment: Thermographic Survey Listing Case Study No 1 Attachment: HV Gauge Listing Draft RFP N40442-12-R-6003 for review and comments. Military Sealift Command (MSC) Norfolk intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for commercial Electronics/Electrical services to be performed onboard MSC operational control vessels. The contractor shall provide electrical, electronics, power, control, and monitoring system inspection, maintenance, repair, service, modification, and installation work. Abovementioned services to be conducted in various geographical locations. The Government anticipates awarding an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity type contract in response to the solicitation. The initial period of performance is expected to commence on or about December 01, 2012 for a period of one (1) year with four (4) one-year option periods. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the MSC Contracts Page (http://www.msc.navy.mil/), Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov), and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/) websites under Solicitation Number N40442-12-R-6003 in August 2012. This requirement will be a 100% Small Business set-aside conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulations Parts 12 and 15. The appropriate NAICS Code is 811219. Please see attached Draft Request for Proposal (RFP). This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement and should not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The purpose of this is to provide interested offerors with an opportunity to formulate comments and questions regarding the Draft RFP document to facilitate the proposal process by providing the requirement in advance of the Final RFP. Comments from interested offerors must be received via email to kate.petti@navy.mil no later than Thursday, July 19, 2012, 10:00 am Norfolk, VA local time.
