Description
Under Statutory Authority  §41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1), the Department of Veteran Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Metro Environmental Contractors, Inc. DBA: Metro Tank & Pump of Wheeling, IL to provide supplies & services to replace outdated and broken fuel monitors to various fuel tanks located at the Captain James A Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, IL. This is a one-time equipment upgrade purchase. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Contract is firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 237120. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 115 South 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee WI 53214-1476 or via fax to (414) 844-4891. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with contractor noted in paragraph one.
