- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Headquarters located in New Cumberland, PA has a requirement to upgrade five (5) Video Teleconference (VTC) rooms located in four (4) different buildings. DLA requires new or upgraded systems to be able to intercommunicate with the other DLA field activities that built around the Cisco/Tandberg VTC systems. This acquisition is for brand name Cisco/Tandberg VTC system upgrades. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334310 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The Government will not be providing diagrams or existing conference room layouts, but will be offering a planned site visit to allow interested offerors to see the conference rooms. Only one planned site visit will be offered on 25 July 2012 starting at 9:00 AM. All Offerors should plan at least an hour for processing at Pass and ID in order to gain access to DLA Distribution Susquehanna, 2001 Mission Drive, New Cumberland, PA 17070. DLA Distribution Headquarters is a tenant of DLA Distribution Susquehanna. All interested offeres are required to contact Alan Noble, Contract Specialist by phone (717-770-4192), by e-mail (alan.noble@dla.mil), or by fax (717-770-7591) to provide notice of attending the scheduled site visit no later than 20 July 2012 12:00 PM. DLA Distribution Susquehanna has a security requirement for all visitors to provide the following two days prior to a scheduled visit: Visitor's name, Visitor's Company's name, Visitor's social security number, Visitor's date of birth, and visitor's state/country of birth that will be used to provide a background check prior to granting access to DLA Distribution Susquehanna, PA. DLA Distribution Susquehanna also requires that all visitors driving their own vehicles on the installation provide a copy of a valid divers license and vehicle registration when checking into the installation Pass and ID office located at 2001 Mission Drive, New Cumberland, PA 17070. All visitors are advised that the installation security protocol is to randomly and up to a 100% vehicle inspection prior to a person gaining access to DLA Distribution Susquehanna, PA. If an offeror is sending the Personally Identifiable Information through the fax or e-mail are cautioned that both the fax and e-mail are not a secure medium, and if sending the information through a fax or e-mail shall be marked in accordance with DoD Directive 5400.11, DoD Privacy Program and the Privacy Act of 1974. This requirement for VTC upgrades requires Offerors to develop an installation design plan detailing the proposed work, designs for proposed connectivity solutions,a proposed project schedule, and a one (1) year period of performance maintenance plan to include preventative maintenance in accordance with the acquisition Statement of Work. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract resultant from this solicitation. The anticipated date of award is 28 September 2012.
