- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO ANNOUCE THIS SOLICITATION, VA241-12-R-0908, WILL BE POSTED TO THE VENDOR PORTAL ON 07/13/2012-08/13/2012. THIS IS A TOTAL 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET ASIDE PROCUREMENT. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED IN THE ECMS VENDOR PORTAL ONLY AND VENDOR'S MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE ECMS VENDOR PORTAL TO RECEIVE ALL THE DOCUMENTATION. (See below) The RFP solicitation with all pertinent documents will be published to the eCMS VENDOR PORTAL on 07/13/2012. All respondents must be registered in the Vendor Portal to receive the RFP solicitation and all pertinent documents. A guide has been attached to assist you in registering with the Vendor Portal. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Manchester VAMC, 718 Smyth Road, Manchester, NH 03104 intends to issue a Design/Build contract for the Renovation of Building 5 at the Manchester VAMC. The project scope includes but is not limited to: Provide all labor, services, equipment and supplies to perform the work of this project as outlined in the plans and specifications. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE is 236220. The US Small Business Administration size standard is $33,500,000.00. The SOLICITATION date will be approximately July 13, 2012 - August 13, 2012. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal and will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. Firms must have a current registration with the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov and be verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise at http://www.vetbiz.gov and have Certifications and Representations, ORCA, at http://orca.bpn.gov, for their proposal to be responsive. The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only via electronic media at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. All interested parties are responsible for checking this website to ensure that they have the most current information. All questions in regards to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist, Christopher Humphrey, at Christopher.Humphrey@va.gov. NO telephone requests will be accepted.
