- Procurement Summary Page UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks Existing Leased Office Space Located in Owls Head, ME Project Number 0ME2008 The United States Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under lease in Owls Head, ME that will be expiring August 31, 2012. The Government seeks to lease approximately 1,134 RSF yielding 1,000 ANSI/BOMA office and related space, and 5 surface parking spaces in Owls Head, ME. The lease term requirement is for 5 years 3 years firm and must be available for occupancy by September 1, 2012. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government will use the information it receives in response to this advertisement as a basis to develop a cost benefit analysis and to determine whether to compete the lease requirement or pursue a sole source justification to remain at its current location. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Government's requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non­productive agency downtime. The Space must meet requirements for fire-safety, seismic safety, and sustainability energy star standards per the terms of the solicitation, plus handicapped access in accordance with ABASS guidelines. Space shall be ready for occupancy no later than September 1, 2012. The propose lease shall be fully-serviced. Offered space shall not be located within 100/500 year-floodplain. The delineated area is as follows: within.40 mile drive to the Knox County Regional Airport. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM EST on Friday, July 20, 2012 AND INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: •1) Building name and address, and location of space in the building. •2) Legal description. •3) CAD and 1/8 inch scale drawing of space offered. •4) ANSI/BOMA defined Office Area Square Feet. •5) Rentable Square Feet Offered. •6) Full Service rental rate broken down by shell and operating Costs. •7) Percentage of Common Area Factor used to determine the Rentable Square Feet. •8) Number of parking spaces available on the premises. •9) Name, address, telephone number, and email address of individual to be contacted. Submission by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the Offeror is representing more than one property, the Offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner. Please include reference to 0ME2008. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative.
